Architecture, development and infrastructure
Jul 2026 – present

Node 20 and TypeScript backend with Express 5, Drizzle ORM and PostgreSQL 16, validated with Zod
Distributor network with a unilevel structure built on Laravel 12
Self-hosted mail server with Stalwart and Bulwark webmail, relaying outbound through AWS SES
Two calculators on their own domains: a public one for clients and an internal one for consultants
Accounting and the roofing line as independent applications in the same ecosystem

A bilingual corporate site for a solar, roofing and water company in Puerto Rico, plus the system that keeps it alive. Not just the website: a Telegram bot reads the weekly plan from Google Sheets, proposes the content, publishes it to the blog with one button and keeps reminding when it is missing. Around it, a self-hosted CRM and booking calendar on their own subdomains, and a technical SEO audit applied over the full site.

A complete admin panel on top of a headless API. The frontend is Next.js 14 with the App Router, server components and route handlers, with an interface built on Tailwind CSS 4 and shadcn/ui; behind it, a Strapi backend consumed over REST. Unit and component tests with Vitest and Testing Library, structured logging with pino and per-environment configuration with not a single secret in the repository: discipline applied from the first commit, not bolted on at the end.

This very site, and at the same time a sample of how I work. Static Astro with SPA-style navigation through View Transitions, three-state light and dark theming and the brand applied from its manual, typography and palette included. Portfolio screenshots are generated with Playwright from the live sites, continuous integration validates types, build and routes, and deployment is a single command that verifies every route after the rollout.
